Okay, this piece of news has been floating around for a while now, but it's finally official.
Wall·E is coming to Blu-ray on November 18 as
two-
and
three-disc
sets. Features on the two-disc edition include two animated shorts (
Presto and
Burn-E), deleted scenes, five featurettes ("Animation Sound Design: Building Worlds from the Sound Up," "Sneak Peek: WALL-E's Tour of the Universe," "The Pixar Story by Leslie Iwerks," "BnL Shorts," "Wall-E's Treasures and Trinkets"), a Lots of Bots storybook, a Geek Track viewing option, Cine-Explore feature with Andrew Stanton, picture-in-picture function in
Burn-E with storyboards, and a suite of "retro-style" interactive games. The three-disc set has all of this and includes a Disney File (Digital Copy) version of the film on the third disc.
Can you believe I haven't seen Wall·E yet? Yeah, it's just opening this week here in Singapore to coincide with the school holidays, so you bet I'm gonna be catching it on the biggest screen I can find, and in digital too. I have no doubt it's gonna be good.
